JIDC aims to provide all authors with an efficient and consistent editorial process. This rigorous peer review process will be offered in a constructive manner, targeted at facilitating capacity building and providing enabling tools as appropriate.
Authors must be registered and enrolled as Authors to submit their work. Registration is free and open to everyone, follow this link to go to the registration form.
Before submitting a manuscript, authors are kindly invited to carefully check the Submission guide, containing important information on how to format and prepare your files.
Authors are encouraged to provide complete contact details (including e-mail addresses) and area of expertise of a maximum of three potential peer reviewers. These suggested reviewers should be experts in the field of study relevant to the manuscript and should not be members of the same research or academic institution as the authors. Author suggested reviewers will be considered alongside other potential reviewers identified by their publication record or recommended by Editorial Board members. However, the final decision on the choice of reviewers rests with the Editor without any obligation to contact any of the author recommended peer reviewers.
Submitted manuscripts will be assigned to a member of the editorial team who is an expert in the field. The Editor will assess the manuscript to determine whether it is within the scope of the journal, the quality of the data presented and the standard of presentation before sending it for peer review.
The JIDC charges an amount of €300,-- +VAT for accepted articles, to cover copyediting and production costs. You are kindly invited to contact the Billing Department at firstname.lastname@example.org for details.
Since we don't want to make the payment capability to be a barrier, if you or your institution is unable to cover the costs, you may apply for a waiver by sending a detailed letter to email@example.com, explaining the reasons of your request at the time of submission.
